The Vogue Party was the the place to be at Milan Fashion Week on Thursday the 21th. After the Versace Runway Show the super models showed up to give the event an added uber thrill and a display of 90’s Girl Power. The ladies generated an excitement when they walked the Black Carpet. The theme of the evening was Black Tie or Naked.

The Steve Jobs Theater is impressive.
Apple is way ahead of the competition in tech and retail. The brand is turning its stores into social networking centers. Look out SoHo House!
The Applewatch is still a Multi-Useless tech device with 18 hours battery life. I know Apple is an influential company but there are 24 hours in a day.
Apple TV, a bit of a yawn.
IPhone 8 with hyper camera features looks good but is it a game changer? AR software and motion tracking included in the phone, it feels a bit gimmicky, aimed at a specific user or a specific buyer. This is great for gaming enthusiasts but not sure if it is a big draw for main stream buyers. Wireless Chi charging looks good.
iPhone X A massive 5.8 inch HDR display with glass on back and forward. It looks beautiful. No home button. The user experience is different by tapping on the screen because there is no home button. A simple swipe is the key to using the phone. Face ID for facial recognition to unlock the smartphone. The advance technology creates a model of the users face. iPhone X comes with dual cameras and color filters with image stabilization and portrait mode and 4K video. A new level of proficient selfies is coming to Instagram.
Longer battery life is a positive.
The Animoji from Apple messages could become a new way to communicate in the iPhone world.
iPhone X starts at 999. It will be a status symbol but I would train messenger ravens like they have in Game of Thrones before I spend that amount of money on a phone.
iPhone X is an evolution but not a tech leap so many expected. At times the latest features felt a bit juvenile.
Collections I liked.
RiRi stole the show in many ways. One for spectacle of presentation but on the collection front I liked the Fenty X Puma. I see success. It is wearable and very today; the urban chic style will be everywhere.
Do not wear this collection to Church. Linder decided on body aggressive. One false move and the world becomes your gynecologists with some looks bordering on centerfold pin up. The color palette was narrow but the choice of styles was wide including jackets, chains, and mid-section dresses.
Johnathan Saunders has the reigns of Diane Von Furstenberg, I am pleased. I liked this collection because it was sophisticated, vibrant, and attainable. He threw on the colors, patterns and materials in so many forms from leather coats to denim inspired jackets, and the signature wrap dress.
Keep it light and airy seems to be Sies Marjan approach to making a collection that was breezy while colorful. Pajama inspired menswear, slip on dresses for ladies. Her approach was based on simplicity. It worked.
Confidence is what makes a lady so attractive. Marina Moscone knows this judging by a collection that was made for a woman who has a lot going on. Long flowing caftans, bell bottom suits are high points of the collection from the designer who came on the scene last year.
Black and Paper follow up to an earlier story on the IGA.
Berlin is a city that oozes culture and nightlife, so many places to go a person could get lost in the urban jungle. If you need a bit of nature to recharge the battery while getting a new perspective on the German Capital check out the IGA Berlin 2017 event in Marzahn district. The different landscape settings are inspiring. I loved it!

Not sure what to make of Raf Simons and his Nightmare inspired collection at Calvin Klein. It feels like the present climate has inspired him in a dark way. Did I like the looks? Not really.
Brock Collection was lovely in the forms; feminine, soft, body hugging.
Ulla Johnson was effervescent with a lot of white linen.
