African Fashion Week continues to move from strength to strength. This year from Dakar the best of the best from the continent showcase their latest collections.
This one off press day from an agency was a surprise. Make up brand Charlotte Tilbury had a wonderful presentation. I was impressed by the packaging, a lot of rich details. The German accessory label MCM is in the middle of a transition, a new creative director has come on board. I have never been a big fan of MCM but I am willing to see what happens in the near future. Sportswear and casual are merging, Southern Germany based KCA-Lab had some interesting pieces for ladies who like to mix and match athletic wear with their daily wardrobe. Dimitri had some looks on racks. He no longer shows at Fashion Week, but has success with female customers. Adidas trainers with print details inside.

Charlotte Tilbury launched her line cosmetic and skin care line at the famed KaDeWe Department Store in Berlin to an enthusiastic crowd this week eager to get make up tips and make overs. The British born make-up artist to the stars clients has included J-Lo, Kim Kardashian, and Kate Moss to name a few. Tilbury’s beauty resume also includes campaigns for Tom Ford and Burberry.
