Milan Fashion Week Men starts on January 13th 2023. What is going to be the latest trend from the Italian city? A bit curious, I have not been to a mens week event since 2019. I am not just writing this cause of all the masculine models or encountering the sometimes “GROUCHY” press agents. Mens fashion weeks tend to be more intimate than the female counterparts.

Milan Fashion Week Men happened under the Omicron wave sweeping across Europe. Designers in the Italian city showed looks saying ” The Future is Now.” The collections were designed for going out in the world, expressive, showing off.
Based on what I saw, it would be hard to believe Italy was experiencing a forth wave. From the strange to the colorful to the classic, all the collections showed a mood of overcoming the present crisis. Welcome back to La Dolce Vita!

When I saw Alexander McQueen on the Milan Fashion Week Men, of course I made the trek to minimum studio space. Â I must admit I do not wear the brand. But the brand’s expressive statement wear has influenced on the fashion world. Â
Now, this collection was about suit for Fall 20. Â An interpretation of suits, work jumpsuits, and jackets.Â

From Milan Fashion Week Men, Dondup offered a fresh lively take on outerwear for Spring 2019. Â The collection veered to the masculine side but in a soft way. Â Men who are looking for wearable pieces should check the label out.

A Sportswear Rival Born.
Spyder is a Korean-American active wear label. I attended the presentation last June. I found the collection impressive. In January 2019 at Milan Fashion Week Men the brand held its first runway show. Menswear mingled with a few womenswear looks.
It is too early to say if Spyder can become a rival to the likes of Nike or Under Armour but they are giving it a try.
