Black and Paper Pick

Italian leather crafts wear brand Serapian has a new collection this fall inspired by the seventies.   I saw their pieces at Pitti Uomo in Florence.  For a man looking for a luxury bag with style and details but without the brand markings, I recommend these bags for their craftsmanship and versatility; the looks can be both formal and informal.  Of course all bags are Italian Made.

The 14 Capsule Collection is only available in 30 boutiques and Serapian Stores.

Pitti Uomo with Lucio Vanotti

Founded in 2012, the Lucio Vanotti brand philosophy is minimalism. Chosen by Giorgio Armani to present his collection in the Armani Theatre, this season the designer displayed his latest menswear looks at Pitti Uomo in Florence.

Mr. Vanotti preferred loose fitting silhouette that elongated the body with stripes and high waist fittings.

Concpet Korea At Pitti Uomo

Pitti Uomo presented Concept Korea, menswear looks from designer Ordinary People and Byungmun Seo.

I liked Ordinary People more because my taste leans more towards classic styling.  Byungmun was more experimental with shapes, cuts, and silhouettes.  Transforming the body into padded geometric shapes.

Pitti Notes

Pitti Umo

Tommy Hilfiger is going for a game changing strategy by integrating brick & mortar with a new digital presence that challenges the present framework of the fashion week by shrinking order times of design to store shelves, a digital interaction touchscreen allowing clients to order any item and have it delivered within 24 hours.  Fans of Tommy Hilfiger could see the pop up screen anywhere.

Unique, Fabulous, Bold, and High styled are the words I use for the Kanpekino shoes from Japan.  Made of cow and seal leather the designer has a unique vision of shoe wear.  While walking around Pitti Uomo the animal print styles on the display table caught my eye.  Each shoe is hand produced in a factory near Tokyo.

Italian Brand Il Cappottino from Senigallia are for the person who wants a personal style in the outerwear style.  Expressive coats made of wool and cashmere with colors.
