Scenes from my staycation in the port city of Hamburg.
The Sites from Hamburg PT1

A revisit to Laboe, Germany. The Northern Baltic City is a destination for Kite Surfing.
Nuremberg, the historical first city of Franconia region Germany offers a visitor delightful views. I spent a day walking around the old city acquainting myself to a relaxing vibe along the city walls and riverfront.
I liked the shopping district, of course, a mixture of small brands and big stores. While, Strolling around I walked into the Peach Patrol store to check out a local leather bag designer. Satisfying my luxury itch, Breuninger’s four floors, plus the famed department store ground floor cafe looking out on the street was a treat. Of you have to try one of the city’s many sausage restaurants and famed Nürnberger Bratwurst.
Lastly, a walk up to the palace for a view of the city is a tourist must.
Haunting. Tragic. Inspiring. What can anyone write about Pompeii that has not been written before? The Roman city fell victim to the Mount Vesuvius. Mother Nature claimed the city one evening burying the ancient metropolis under levels of deadly ash almost 2000 years ago.
Visiting the site 2 times in August. I admit, Pompeii stirs the imagination. A real peak into the ancient world.
These are pictures from my first visit.
I am editing the images from my second visit, posted here soon.
Looking at this tank, thee fish reminded me of Mon Calamari from Star Wars spaceships floating in one space.
