Cinderella Should Be Here

When I saw the enchanted Schwerin Castle the fairy tael “Cinderella” came to mind. I started looking for a glass slipper. The pretty as a picture structure is a World Heritage Site.

It is not hard to get to Schwerin. Meclenburg Vorpommern is a slight detour between Berlin and Hamburg via AutoBahn 24.

It Happens In The Reeperbahn

“What Happens in the Reeperbahn Stays in the Reeperbahn.” The St. Pauli’s Red Light district is known for sin. Historically, sailors staying in the Hamburg would visit the Reeperbahn for “fun”. Today, while hit by the tourist overload, in the evening its true character comes out. I recommend a stroll after 18:00.

A Walk in Nuremberg

Nuremberg, the historical first city of Franconia region Germany offers a visitor delightful views. I spent a day walking around the old city acquainting myself to a relaxing vibe along the city walls and riverfront.

I liked the shopping district, of course, a mixture of small brands and big stores. While, Strolling around I walked into the Peach Patrol store to check out a local leather bag designer. Satisfying my luxury itch, Breuninger’s four floors, plus the famed department store ground floor cafe looking out on the street was a treat. Of you have to try one of the city’s many sausage restaurants and famed Nürnberger Bratwurst.

Lastly, a walk up to the palace for a view of the city is a tourist must.
