Breaking the montony of the most recent Lockdown, I went to Tierpark Zoo. Many zoos are suffering a decline in visitors due to the Coronavirus. The two Berlin attractions requested people visit their attractions to help offset revenue losses. A pleasant way to get out of the house, please support your local Zoo.
The ancient tradition of Falcon care is alive and well in Abu Dhabi. While in the Emirate, I visited a unique place, the Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital. The largest falcon center in the world was founded in 1999. As well as caring for avian patients, the facility offers a complete package of avian services from boarding, breeding, molting. I must say I learned quite a bit of birds and the passion their owners have these majestic creatures; many birds have their own rooms and even passports for travel. The value of the birds can range to up over $100.
A visit is well worth it. Kids will love it!
